Rugby Tours to Wales for American Clubs
Nowhere takes rugby more personally than Wales. The national stadium sits in the middle of the capital, the pubs around it fill from breakfast on a match day, and an hour up the Valleys are clubs that have been playing in the same towns since the 1870s.
A Welsh tour is a small-country tour: everything is close, everyone knows someone at the club you are playing, and the singing starts without warning.

Base yourself in Cardiff
A central hotel puts you within ten minutes' walk of the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Arms Park, Westgate Street and every bar you need. The Valleys clubs are forty minutes by bus. The Gower coast and the Brecon Beacons are an hour away for a free day.
The rugby
A fixture against a Cardiff or Valleys club at your level, with a clubhouse welcome that will be the story of the tour.
A Six Nations or Autumn Test at the Principality Stadium, roof shut, seventy-four thousand people singing. There is nothing like it in sport.
A practice at a top-level ground with a local coach taking it.
Cardiff Rugby, the Ospreys or the Scarlets in the URC on a non-Test weekend.
Off the pitch
Westgate Street and St Mary Street on a match day, then Cardiff Bay when you want a change of scene.
A day on the Gower or in the Brecon Beacons for the ones who want air.
Cardiff Castle is in the middle of town, next to the stadium, for the keen ones.
Your court, your rules, in a room we have booked for it.
When to come
- February and March
- Six Nations in Cardiff. The best match-day city in the game.
- Late August and September
- Welsh clubs in preseason and after a game, good weather, the regions starting up. Labor Day weekend works. In 2027 Wales play World Cup warm-ups at home.
- November
- Autumn Tests at the Principality against the southern hemisphere.
- Avoid June and July
- The Welsh club season is over and the clubhouses are shut.
What a week looks like
One shape of many. A long weekend is the back half of this: fly Thursday night, match, Test, court, home Sunday or Monday.
- 01Saturday: overnight flight from the US.
- 02Sunday: land, hotel, first pints on Westgate Street, welcome dinner.
- 03Monday: practice with a local coach, city afternoon, quiet night.
- 04Tuesday: Valleys day, a session or a game and a clubhouse that will not let you leave.
- 05Wednesday: free day. Gower, Brecon, or Cardiff Bay. Group dinner.
- 06Thursday: match day against the host club, clubhouse after, big night.
- 07Friday: recovery, Test or regional game, reserved area for the evening.
- 08Saturday: court session. Sunday: home, or stay on.
Rough outline. The itinerary is built around your dates, your numbers and the fixtures that year.
Why us for Wales
We have been on the end of Welsh hospitality as players, which is the only qualification that matters for organising it. We know the clubs that host well and we have the contacts to make a Cardiff weekend work on a Test day.

BUILT BY CLUB PLAYERS, FOR CLUB PLAYERS
We run adult clubs ourselves, so we know what a tour is for: a few good sessions, a competitive game, a few big nights, and watching some crazy good rugby.
No school groups. No youth tours. No parents. Men's and women's adult clubs, from social sides to top-of-the-league sides, and old boys who want one more trip.
We don't over-plan. The core parts are set and the rest is left open for you to go and adventure on your own. We don't come on the tour and hold hands.
Your traditions, your court, your clans, your rules. We book the room and leave you to it.
We get under the hood of local club rugby: a host club matched to your level, practices on local grounds you would not get onto on your own, and the small things that make an adult club tour better.
Our own platform takes the $50 deposits and the installments from every player and does the chasing. The organiser never collects a cent.
