Rugby Tours to England for American Clubs

England has more rugby clubs than anywhere on earth, so finding you a host club that fields your level, has a decent clubhouse and wants a game is the easy part. The hard part is choosing between London and the West Country.

London gives you Twickenham, two Premiership clubs inside the city, and a night out in every borough. Bath and Bristol give you two of the great rugby towns an hour and a half from Heathrow, and a quieter, cheaper base with the same standard of game.

London, or the West Country

In London we put you in a central hotel with the Tube on the doorstep. Twickenham is a train from Waterloo, the Stoop and the StoneX are both inside the city, and the historic pubs do the rest. In the West Country, Bath is the base: a small, beautiful city with a Premiership club in the middle of it, Bristol twenty minutes away, and the Cotswolds and Wales within reach for a day.

The rugby

  • A fixture against an English club at your level, with the clubhouse afterwards. English club culture is old, proud and very welcoming to a touring side.

  • A Six Nations or Autumn Test at Twickenham, or a Premiership game at Harlequins, Saracens, Bath or Bristol on a club weekend.

  • A coached practice at a top-level ground.

  • In August and September 2027 England host World Cup warm-up Tests at Twickenham, which makes a Labor Day tour that year a very good idea.

Off the pitch

  • The pubs. Centuries-old ones on the river, in the City and around Borough Market, and the ones in Richmond and Twickenham on a match day.

  • A free day in London looks after itself: markets, museums, the West End, a boat down the Thames.

  • In Bath, the Roman Baths and the Georgian city, with Bristol's harbourside for the night out.

  • Your own court, your own rules, your own room booked for it.

When to come

February and March
Six Nations at Twickenham. The biggest rugby weekends of the year in the biggest rugby city.
Late August and September
English clubs in preseason and keen for a run out, the Premiership kicking off, warm weather. Labor Day weekend suits US clubs. 2027 adds the World Cup warm-ups.
November
Autumn Tests at Twickenham against New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and Argentina.
Avoid June and July
The English club season ends in May and the clubhouses are locked.

What a week looks like

One shape of many. A long weekend is the back half of this: fly Thursday night, match, Test, court, home Sunday or Monday.

  1. 01Saturday: overnight flight from the US.
  2. 02Sunday: land, hotel, first pints by the river, welcome dinner.
  3. 03Monday: practice with a local coach, afternoon in the city, a quiet night.
  4. 04Tuesday: day out. Bath or Oxford by train, or a Premiership club's ground and museum.
  5. 05Wednesday: free day. Group dinner.
  6. 06Thursday: match day against the host club, clubhouse after, big night.
  7. 07Friday: recovery, Test or Premiership game, reserved area for the evening.
  8. 08Saturday: court session. Sunday: home, or stay on.

Rough outline. The itinerary is built around your dates, your numbers and the fixtures that year.

Why us for England

We have toured England as players and we have run tours here as organisers. We know which clubs put on a great post-match, and we have good contacts at the pro clubs and the union when a tour needs a favour.

BUILT BY CLUB PLAYERS, FOR CLUB PLAYERS

We run adult clubs ourselves, so we know what a tour is for: a few good sessions, a competitive game, a few big nights, and watching some crazy good rugby.

No school groups. No youth tours. No parents. Men's and women's adult clubs, from social sides to top-of-the-league sides, and old boys who want one more trip.

We don't over-plan. The core parts are set and the rest is left open for you to go and adventure on your own. We don't come on the tour and hold hands.

Your traditions, your court, your clans, your rules. We book the room and leave you to it.

We get under the hood of local club rugby: a host club matched to your level, practices on local grounds you would not get onto on your own, and the small things that make an adult club tour better.

Our own platform takes the $50 deposits and the installments from every player and does the chasing. The organiser never collects a cent.
